Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan however, she was not interested in markets or currencies in her time in college. She interned at ForexTV.com while she was studying at New York University. She gained her first experience with business news through this job. She then earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Then, she took on an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to America and started working in New York at Bloomberg. In the end, she was a anchor on television. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as the correspondent. Before she was hired as a correspondent on "Closing Bell as a correspondent, she worked as co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk on the Street since the year 2014. A prominent journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus has been on global consumer news since joining CNBC.
